MADELINE DAVID
is a passionate television journalist with vast experience in multiple facets of news.
Most recently, Madeline was a reporter/multi-skilled journalist at WVEC 13News Now in the Norfolk-Virginia Beach news market. She also served as a fill-in anchor and worked on special assignment, in-depth projects.

Prior to working on the East Coast, Madeline lived and worked in the Great American Southwest, where she was a reporter/MMJ and weekend anchor at News 13 KRQE-TV in the Albuquerque-Santa Fe market. She started her on-air TV news career in the Sherman, Texas market.

Over the course of her career, Madeline has covered a myriad of stories in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, Virginia and North Carolina; everything from being an embedded state legislative reporter to wildfire and hurricane coverage.
​
While working in the Land of Enchantment, Madeline was also a FLIR operator for Sky News 13, KRQE's AStar 350 helicopter. She captured aerial footage for news reports, including her own stories. She delivered multiple LIVE mid-air reports during the station's extensive annual week-long coverage of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.
Madeline is a Texas Christian University graduate with a B.A. in journalism. Prior to graduation and pursuing the on-air side of TV news, she worked as an associate producer and digital content producer in two fast-paced Dallas-Fort Worth newsrooms, CBS 11 KTVT-TV and Channel 8 WFAA-TV.

This Army brat and has moved quite a bit, but spent most of her childhood in the greater-Washington, D.C. area. She traces her passion for journalism back to her days as anchor of the student newscasts at Kings Glen Elementary School in Springfield, Virginia.

Madeline enjoys spending her down time with her husband, Nick, and cat, Leo. She's a weightlifting lover as well as a nature enthusiast who appreciates a day of outdoor recreation - kayaking, hiking, biking, beach-lounging... you name it!
